We are fortunate to have obtained support for running British Cycling's Go-Ride programme. We run a Cycling Club at Giggleswick School Playing Fields on most Saturday mornings (starting at 9:30am) throughout the year, developing the children’s bike handling skills and preparing them to ride confidently and safely on or off road
All children between the ages of 5 and 16 who are able to ride a bicycle without stabilisers are very welcome to attend. For children new to Go-Ride Cycling Club the first session is free and subsequent sessions are £2 per child. You will need to complete the Parental Consent, Code of Conduct and Health Questionnaire forms below and bring them along with you to the session, or e-mail them to the Club Welfare Officer.
The number of riders that can be coached, following the British Cycling guidelines, depends on the number of coaches available on that day. Please do not just turn up to a Go-Ride session, but book your child in by using the Go-Ride Facebook Group. No money is taken on the day, but can be paid to the nominated account via BACS.
Please note that a full risk assessment of all activity areas has been carried out prior to their use for Go-Ride activities.
